For the first time ever, Cardinal Golf Club in King, Ontario began offering memberships to their RedCrest Golf Club in autumn of 2019. Cardinal turned to Addison for help promoting this offer online, using Google Ads, and Facebook and Instagram advertising.
We harnessed Facebook’s powerful demographic and interest-based data to find the right audience of people near RedCrest who would be interested in a golf club membership. This included creating Facebook Custom Audiences built from Cardinal’s email lists, retargeting people who visited the membership site, targeting people who were already engaged with Cardinal’s social media accounts, and targeting people with golf-related interests.
With a campaign spend of just $800, a total of 41 new online and offline memberships were generated — which amounted to a 1,924% return on investment!
